We consider closed quantum systems (into which baths may be integrated) that are driven, i.e., subject to time-dependent Hamiltonians. Our point of departure is the assumption that if systems start in non-Gibbsian states at some initial energies, the resulting probability distributions of work may be largely independent of the specific initial energies. It is demonstrated that this assumption has some far-reaching consequences, e.g., it implies the validity of the Jarzynski relation for a large class of non-Gibbsian initial states. By performing numerical analysis on integrable and nonintegrable spin systems, we find the above assumption fulfilled for all examples considered. Through an analysis based on Fermi's golden rule, we partially relate these findings to the applicability of the eigenstate thermalization ansatz to the respective driving operators.

This study aimed to evaluate MPH's association with the adverse effect status in children and its relationship with CES1, LPHN3, and COMT in the Turkish population. Background: Currently, there is a dearth of systematic research data on the phenomenon of false-positive reactions in treponemal tests. The aim of this study is to analyze the clinical characteristics and influencing factors associated with false-positive treponemal tests in patients, so as to enhance the diagnostic accuracy of syphilis and mitigate misdiagnosis-induced incorrect treatment.
Methods: From January 2017 to December 2023, a total of 759 cases with false-positive results for treponema were screened for blood transfusion, surgery, or other medical interventions at Jinling hospital.

In this paper, we present PALMS, an innovative indoor global localization and relocalization system for mobile smartphones that utilizes publicly available floor plans. Unlike most vision-based methods that require constant visual input, our system adopts a dynamic form of localization that considers a single instantaneous observation and odometry data. The core contribution of this work is the introduction of a particle filter initialization method that leverages the Certainly Empty Space (CES) constraint along with principal orientation matching.

Background: Most patients initially diagnosed with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) still have frequent recurrence after urethral bladder tumor electrodesiccation supplemented with intravesical instillation therapy, and their risk of recurrence is difficult to predict. Risk prediction models used to predict postoperative recurrence in patients with NMIBC have limitations, such as a limited number of included cases and a lack of validation. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop new models to compensate for the shortcomings and potentially provide evidence for predicting postoperative recurrence in NMIBC patients.
