As an innovative branch of electronics, intelligent electronic textiles (e-textiles) have broad prospects in applications such as e-skin, human-computer interaction, and smart homes. However, it is still a challenge to distinguish multiple stimuli in the same e-textile. Herein, we propose a dual-parameter smart e-textile that can detect human pulse and body temperature in real time, with high performance and no signal interference.

Metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) hydrogen sensors offer advantages, such as high sensitivity and fast response, but their challenges remain in achieving low-cost fabrication and stable operation at room temperature. This study investigates Nb-doped TiO (NTO) thin films prepared via a one-step micro-arc oxidation (MAO) with the addition of NbO nanoparticles into the electrolyte for room-temperature hydrogen sensing. The characterization results revealed that the incorporation of NbO altered the film's morphology and phase composition, increasing the Nb content and forming a homogeneous composite thin film.

The remarkable efficiency with which enzymes catalyze small-molecule reactions has driven their widespread application in organic chemistry. Here, we employ automated fast-flow solid-phase synthesis to access catalytically active full-length enzymes without restrictions on the number and structure of noncanonical amino acids incorporated. We demonstrate the total syntheses of iron-dependent myoglobin (BsMb) and sperm whale myoglobin (SwMb).

Indoor environment and health have drawn public attention worldwide. However, the joint health effects and mechanisms of exposure to different types of indoor environmental factors remain unclear. We established an exploratory panel study on indoor environment and health effects among young adults in China (the China IEHE Study) to comprehensively investigate 3M issues, including multiple indoor environmental factors, multiple health effects, and multiple omics methods for mechanism exploration.

Intermittent fasting (IF) is a nutritional lifestyle intervention with broad metabolic benefits, but whether the impact of IF depends on the individual's age is unclear. Here, we investigated the effects of IF on systemic metabolism and β cell function in old, middle-aged, and young mice. Short-term IF improves glucose homeostasis across all age groups without altering islet function and morphology.
