Multiple studies have demonstrated that lncRNAs extensively participate in human cancer proliferation and metastasis. Epigenetic modification, transcriptional and posttranscriptional regulatory mechanisms are involved in lncRNA-led tumorigenesis and transfer. Recently, a novel identified homeobox (HOX) A11 antisense lncRNA, , 1,628 bp in length, has been excessively highlighted to be an essential initiator and facilitator in the process of malignant tumor proliferation and metastasis. As found in many reports, can not only act as a molecular scaffold of PRC2, LSD1 and DNMT1 to epigenetically modify chromosomes in the nucleus but also occur as ceRNA competitively sponging miRNAs in the cytoplasm. Furthermore, may function as a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. In this review, we summarize the evolvement and mechanisms of in proliferation and metastasis of various human cancers.

Today, cancer has become one of the leading global tragedies. It occurs when a small number of cells in the body mutate, causing some of them to evade the body's immune system and proliferate uncontrollably. Even more irritating is the fact that patients with cancers frequently relapse after conventional chemotherapy and radiotherapy, leading to additional suffering.

Copper, an essential trace element and biochemical cofactor in humans plays a critical role in maintaining health. Recent studies have identified a significant association between copper levels and the progression and metastasis of cancer. Copper is primarily absorbed in the intestinal tract, often leading to an imbalance of copper ions in the body.

MicroRNA-155 as Biomarker and Its Diagnostic Value in Breast Cancer: A Systematic Review.

The investigation of microRNAs (miRNAs) for the purpose of identifying biomarkers and new treatments for breast cancer has been gaining traction from scientists in recent years. Of all the miRNAs, miR-155 has been reportedly involved in breast cancer development as it regulates various cellular processes such as glucose uptake, proliferation, metastasis, and migration. Various efforts have been done towards researching miR-155 as a biomarker in breast cancer; however, the results were varied.

Background: Peritumoral lidocaine infiltration prior to excision is associated with better survival in breast cancer (BC), which led us to hypothesize that innervation to the tumor affects its biology and patient survival. Activity-regulated cytoskeleton-associated protein (ARC) gene expression is known to be regulated by neuronal activity. Therefore, we studied the clinical relevance of ARC gene expression as a surrogate of neuronal activity in BC.
