The enzyme termed by us as uridilylpolynucleotide-(5'P----O)-tyrosine phosphodiesterase (Y-pUpN PDE) was isolated from mouse ascites Krebs II cells by ion-exchange and affinity chromatography. The enzyme was found to specifically split the natural covalent bond between VPg and EMC or polio viral RNAs. The enzyme is completely inactivated at 55 degrees C and partially by EDTA. The enzyme preparation isolated by the above-mentioned procedure is not homogeneous and contains inhibiting admixture(s). Possible role of the enzyme in living cells is discussed.

Covalent-organic frameworks (COFs) are dynamic covalent porous organic materials constructed from emissive molecular organic building blocks. However, most two-dimensional (2D) COFs are nonemissive or weakly emissive in the solid state owing to the intramolecular rotation and vibration together with strong π-π interactions. Herein, we report a pressure strategy to achieve the bright multicolor emission from yellow to red in the 2D triazine triphenyl imine COF (TTI-COF).

A novel isopthalamide based receptor HL2 featuring two p-benzoic acid units has been synthesised and its anion binding properties analysed by H-NMR spectroscopy in DMSO-d/0.5 % HO. As expected, in the presence of tetrabutylammonium (TBA) fluoride the deprotonation of the carboxylic acid moieties was observed.

Herein, an amino-functionalized covalent organic framework was synthesized and accommodated in the pores of porous hollow fiber. In this context, tetra (4-aminophenyl) porphyrin was synthesized for preparing the desired covalent organic framework as the extracting sorbent and employed for hollow fiber solid-phase microextraction of tebuconazole and propiconazole. With respect to the amino groups of the as-synthesized porphyrin-based covalent organic framework, the extracting device has the ability of establishing a hydrogen bond with the selected model analytes.

[CuL(tmen)] is a sequence of four ternary mononuclear Schiff base copper(II) complexes that are derived from L-valine, suitable 5'-substituted-2'-hydroxyacetophenones (where the substituents are -Cl for L, -Me for L, -OMe for L, and -H for L), and tmen (where tmen-N,N,N',N' tetramethyl ethylenediamine). Without isolating the Schiff base ligand or producing any other intermediate products, all of the complexes were synthesised. These compounds were identified using elemental analysis, molar conductance, UV-Vis, FTIR, EPR, VSM-RT, and CD spectra.

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) hold great potential in gas separation and storage. Graph neural networks (GNNs) have proven effective in exploring structure-property relationships and discovering new MOF structures. Unlike molecular graphs, crystal graphs must consider the periodicity and patterns.
