Photoacoustic imaging (PAI) is an emerging hybrid imaging technology that combines the advantages of optical and ultrasound imaging. Despite its excellent imaging capabilities, PAI still faces numerous challenges in clinical applications, particularly sparse spatial sampling and limited view detection. These limitations often result in severe streak artifacts and blurring when using standard methods to reconstruct images from incomplete data.

Unlabelled: Cytoplasmic proteins must recruit to membranes to function in processes such as endocytosis and cell division. Many of these proteins recognize not only the chemical structure of the membrane lipids, but the curvature of the surface, binding more strongly to more highly curved surfaces, or 'curvature sensing'. Curvature sensing by amphipathic helices is known to vary with membrane bending rigidity, but changes to lipid composition can simultaneously alter membrane thickness, spontaneous curvature, and leaflet symmetry, thus far preventing a systematic characterization of lipid composition on such curvature sensing through either experiment or simulation.

Background: Entropy quantifies the level of disorder within a system. Low entropy reflects increased rigidity of homeostatic feedback systems possibly reflecting failure of protective physiological mechanisms like cerebral autoregulation. In traumatic brain injury (TBI), low entropy of heart rate and intracranial pressure (ICP) predict unfavorable outcome.

Despite the widespread exploration and availability of parcellations for the functional connectome, parcellations designed for the structural connectome are comparatively limited. Current research suggests that there may be no single "correct" parcellation and that the human brain is intrinsically a multiresolution entity. In this work, we propose the Continuous Structural Connectivitity-based, Nested (CoCoNest) family of parcellations-a fully data-driven, multiresolution family of parcellations derived from structural connectome data.
