Background: Heart Failure (HF) quality of care (QoC) is associated with clinical outcomes. Therefore, we investigated differences in HF QoC across worldwide regions (with differing national income) and the association of quality indicators with outcomes.
Methods: We examined the quality of care (QoC) in acute heart failure (HF) patients across different regions using quality indicators (QIs) from the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the American Heart Association (AHA) to evaluate QoC.

Despite the increasing focus on goal-concordant care in the emergency department (ED), there is limited data about patients who receive a new hospice referral and the care paths of patients on hospice who present there. Describe the characteristics and clinical course of ED patients who receive a new hospice referral and those already receiving hospice care. Introduction: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) have become the first-line therapy in patients with advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC). Antibiotics (ATB) have been reported to reduce ICI response in cancers, but this has not been evaluated in cSCC.
Aim: To evaluate ATB exposure at the onset of ICI in cSCC patients and to analyze its impact on outcome.
Purpose: Robotic-assisted total knee arthroplasty (RA-TKA) has gained popularity for its potential ability to improve surgical precision and patient outcomes, despite concerns about its long learning curve and increased operative times. The aim of this study is to evaluate the learning curve of the ROSA® Knee System, the relationship between each phase of the learning curve and the accuracy of the robotic system in femoral component size and knee alignment prediction.
Methods: A single surgeon retrospective analysis of total operative time (TOT) and total robotic time was conducted.

Background: Patients with kidney disease are at high risk for adverse outcomes after coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) despite vaccination. Because patients with advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD) and kidney failure were excluded from registrational trials, the impact of the protease inhibitor nirmatrelvir-ritonavir in patients with kidney disease is unknown.
Methods: This was a cohort study evaluating adverse outcomes in patients with kidney disease who developed COVID-19.
