In this work, microalgae-based zinc oxide nanoparticles loaded with electrospun polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/sodium alginate (SA) nanofibers were fabricated by electro-spinner. PVA/SA fibrous mats were crosslinked by citric acid, which enhanced their thermal stability and swelling behavior.
