Introduction: The positive impact of youth sport on physical, mental and social health has been highlighted in several research which reinforces further investigations concerning the reasons for dropout of athletes. As one of the most emergent difficulties in youth sports is to prevent athletes from dropping out, it is important to explore what factors play important part in this process. The purpose of this study was to identify barriers and challenges related to sport persistence and dropout.

Background: Care dependency, inability to perform basic daily tasks without assistance due to functional impairment, increases substantially with accelerated population ageing and becomes a pressing public health concern worldwide. Socioeconomic disadvantage has been shown to be associated with elevated risks of care dependency, but how risks are modified by changes in socioeconomic position remains unclear. From a life course perspective, we investigated the association between socioeconomic mobility across the lifespan and care dependency in later life.

Cervical cancer (CC) is a global public health concern, primarily caused by persistent infection with oncogenic types of human papillomavirus (HPV). The World Health Organization (WHO) has established a plan to eliminate CC as a public health issue by the year 2100. However, the implementation of the HPV vaccine is impeded by vaccine restrictions and misinformation despite its demonstrated effectiveness.

Introduction And Importance: Hydatid disease, caused by the Echinococcus parasite, is a significant health concern in endemic regions. While commonly found in the liver and lungs, breast involvement is rare. We present a case of a hydatid cyst in the breast of a 34-year-old woman from Ethiopia, initially suspected to be breast cancer.
