Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of supra-inguinal fascia iliaca compartment block (S-FICB) in patients undergoing proximal femoral nail antirotation (PFNA) internal fixation surgery for intertrochanteric fracture (ITF).

Methods: Retrospective analysis of 95 patients with ITF undergoing PFNA internal fixation surgery in the First People's Hospital of Yong Kang from March 2021 to August 2023 was performed. Among them, 49 patients received general anesthesia (GA; GA group) and 46 patients received S-FICB combined with general anesthesia (S-FICB group).

Objective: This study aimed to utilise graph theory to explore the functional brain networks in individuals with tic disorders and to investigate resting-state functional connectivity changes in critical brain regions associated with tic disorders.

Methods: Participants comprised individuals with tic disorders and age-matched healthy controls, ranging from 6 to 18 years old, all recruited from Korea University Guro Hospital. We ensured a medication-naïve cohort by excluding participants exposed to psychotropic medications for at least three weeks prior to the study.

The Interaction Between Vasculogenic Mimicry and the Immune System: Mechanistic Insights and Dual Exploration in Cancer Therapy.

Vasculogenic mimicry (VM) represents a novel form of angiogenesis discovered in numerous malignant tumours in recent years. Unlike traditional angiogenesis, VM facilitates tumour blood supply independently of endothelial cells by enabling tumour cells to form functional vascular networks. This phenomenon, where tumour cells replace endothelial cells to form tubular structures, plays a pivotal role in tumour growth and metastasis.

Background: Histone H2B is highly expressed in many types of cancers and is involved in cancer development. H2B clustered histone 9 (H2BC9), a member of the H2B family, plays critical roles in gene expression regulation, chromosome structure, DNA repair stability, and cell cycle regulation. However, the diagnostic and prognostic value of H2BC9 in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) remains unclear.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are highly conserved endogenous non-coding RNAs that play a crucial role in fish immune response by regulating gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. In recent years, the viral diseases caused by infectious hematopoietic necrosis virus (IHNV) have caused significant economic losses in rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) aquaculture, whereas the immune regulatory mechanisms of miRNAs involved in rainbow trout resistance to IHNV infection remains largely undefined. In this study, we analyzed the structural characteristics of Oncorhynchus mykiss tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor 3 (OmTRAF3) by bioinformatics software and explored the molecular mechanism of miR-203-3p in rainbow trout resistance to IHNV by regulating OmTRAF3 in vivo and in vitro.
