Early studies indicate that graphite is feasible as the negative electrode of a potassium-ion battery, but its electrochemical performance still cannot meet the demands of applications. More efforts should be focused on increasing the specific capacity and improving the rate capability in the meantime. Thus, stainless-steel autoclave technology has been utilized to prepare phosphorus nanoparticles encapsulated in reduced graphene oxide matrix as the electrode materials for a potassium-ion battery. As a result, the composite matrix affords high reversible capacities of 354 and 253 mA h g at 100 and 500 mA g , respectively. The superior electrochemical performance is mainly because the composite matrix possesses better electronic conductivity and a robust structure, which can promote the electron-transfer performance of the electrode. Furthermore, phosphorus particles can contribute to the high capacity through an alloying mechanism. In addition, the silklike, ultrathin, film composite with a high surface area is conducive to capacitive potassium-ion storage, which plays a more important role in rate performance and a high current density capability.

Due to the fluidity of the loose medium inside the waste dump slope, the traditional monitoring system cannot fully reflect the misalignment and slip between particles inside the medium, and it is also difficult to capture the precursor information of the slip of the loose accumulation body. To reveal the dynamic evolution process of the slope instability of the waste dump slope, the coupling test system of the slope instability of the waste dump slope was used to carry out the study of the acoustic emission characteristics of the slope instability dynamic response of the dump slope under the action of vibration, and to quantitatively analyse the staged characteristics of the acoustic emission parameter evolution of the dump slope under the action of different vibration frequencies and its instability initiation node. The results show that with the increase of vibration frequency, the damage mode of the slope model gradually changes from sliding of small particles to large-scale landslides, and presents the stage process of "vibration compaction → vibration equilibrium → dynamic instability"; Under the action of low-frequency and high-amplitude, the slope model mainly shows that the tiny particles and the basement gravel slip, which is difficult to capture with the naked eye, while under the action of high-frequency and low-amplitude, the slope surface is damaged in a large area, and the overall model is unstable; The dynamic instability of the waste dump slope is accompanied by obvious acoustic emission activities, and the changes of the characteristic parameters of acoustic emission reveal, to a certain extent, the evolution of the internal state of the slope in the process of dynamic instability of the waste dump slope and its stage characteristics; The amplitude and energy efficiency of acoustic emission in the time domain show obvious fractal characteristics in the dynamic instability of the waste dump slope.

Polymer-coated controlled-release fertilizers (PC-CRFs) are valued for nutrient efficiency, but concerns remain about the long-term impacts of their plastic coatings on soil health. This study investigates the physicochemical characteristics of two commercially available PC-CRFs, type A and B, and their changes during nutrient release. Accelerated nutrient release experiments were conducted for 25 d in ultrapure water (free water) and saturated soil with five wet-dry cycles.

The coexistence of microplastics and heavy metals in soil can lead to more intricate environmental effects. While plant growth-promoting bacteria have been widely recognized for enhancing the remediation of heavy metal-contaminated soils, little research has been conducted to investigate whether they can alleviate the stress of microplastic-heavy metal composite contamination on plants. We investigated the effects of isolated and screened plant growth-promoting bacteria on the growth and cadmium (Cd) accumulation of under the composite pollution of Cd and polypropylene (PP) with different particle sizes (6.

School of Civil Engineering, Guizhou University, Guiyang, Guizhou Province, China.

In this paper, the road performance and mechanism of cement-phosphogypsum-red clay (CPRC) under dry and wet cycling were systematically investigated using 5% cement as curing agent, the mass ratio of phosphogypsum: red clay = 1:1, and 5% SCA-2 as water stabilizer. The road performance of dry and wet cycle mix was verified with the National Highway G210 Duyun Yangan to Yingshan Highway Reconstruction and Expansion Project as a test road to provide a scientific basis for the application of cement-phosphogypsum-red clay on roads. The results show that the cement-phosphogypsum-red clay unconfined compressive strength decreases with the increase of the number of wet and dry cycles, with a larger decay in the first three times and leveling off thereafter.
