In this brief, by constructing an augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional in a triple integral form, the stability analysis of delayed neural networks is investigated. In order to exploit more accurate bounds for the derivatives of triple integrals, new double integral inequalities are developed, which include some recently introduced estimation techniques as special cases. The information on the activation function is taken into full consideration. Taking advantages of the proposed inequalities, the stability criteria with less conservatism are derived. The improvement of the obtained approaches is verified by numerical examples.

Ayahuasca contains N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT), the primary alkaloid responsible for its psychedelic effects. DMT oxidative deamination yields indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) as the predominant metabolite, while N-oxidation produces N,N-dimethyltryptamine-N-oxide (DMT-NO) as the second most abundant metabolite. An LC-MS/MS method was developed and validated to quantify DMT, IAA, and DMT-NO in human plasma, as well as DMT and DMT-NO in human urine.

Ideal liquid sorbents, such as phenolate zwitterions, represent a novel and promising technology for CO2 capture. To enhance their design and reactivity with CO2, two types of substituents, electron-donating groups (EDGs) and electron-withdrawing groups (EWGs) were investigated. Using Density Functional Theory (DFT) with a large basis set, their effectiveness as reactivity modulators was assessed through energy decomposition analysis, non-covalent interaction, natural bond orbitals (NBO), evaluation of reaction energy barriers and pKa.

Motor imagery (MI) engages a broad network of brain regions to imagine a specific action. Investigating the mechanism of brain network reorganization during MI after spinal cord injury (SCI) is crucial because it reflects overall brain activity. Using electroencephalogram (EEG) data from SCI patients, we conducted EEG-based coherence analysis to examine different brain network reorganizations across different frequency bands, from resting to MI.

Aim: While most splenic ruptures manifest as immediate hemorrhage, a minority of patients experience delayed rupture, which occurs days to weeks after the initial trauma. Although there have been reports of delayed splenic rupture following trauma, the exact pathophysiology of this condition and the appropriate treatment remain contentious. This article aims to further discuss and summarize the diagnosis and treatment protocols for delayed traumatic rupture of the spleen through the collection and analysis of existing clinical data, combined with previous literature.

Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the short- and long-term outcomes and complications of total knee arthroplasty (TKA) using posterior-stabilized (PS) and cruciate-retaining (CR) prosthesis in patients with osteoarthritis (OA) and valgus knee deformity.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 200 patients with OA and valgus knee deformity who underwent TKA between February 2021 and November 2023. The cohort was divided into the PS group (n = 108) and the CR group (n = 92).
