Background: Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has developed a rich theoretical system and practical experience in fighting to infectious diseases over the past thousands of years, and has played an important role in controlling the spread owing to its unique advantages. In particular, its significant contribution to the prevention and control of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is widely recognized. COVID-19 infection is mainly non-severe with a favorable overall outcome, but patients with comorbidities tend to have a poor prognosis.

Dairy farms in developing countries are key to fighting hunger and poverty. However, their environmental and economic impact in the tropical region of Peru has been scarcely studied. The CLEANED tool, developed by the Alliance of Bioversity International and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture, allows us to assess the productive situation and the environmental and economic impact of different dairy systems.

Background: Women in sub-Saharan Africa are disproportionately affected by the HIV epidemic. Young women are twice as likely to be living with HIV as men of the same age and account for 64% of new HIV infections among young people. Many studies suggest that financial needs, alongside biological susceptibility, are a leading cause of the gender disparity in HIV acquisition.

Importance: Mental health disorders are increasing for children and adolescents in the US, with those in poverty having especially high rates. More evidence is needed about the association between economic policies, such as the minimum wage, and children's mental health.
Objective: To test the association between minimum wages and the mental health of children and adolescents.
Background: Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major public health concern in Pakistan, which is ranked fifth among high-burden TB nations worldwide. The growing frequency of drug-resistant TB strains, particularly multidrug-resistant TB (MDR-TB), creates new obstacles. Socioeconomic factors, a lack of awareness, and inadequate healthcare infrastructure all contribute to the spread of the disease.
