Background & Objective: Autism is a developmental disorder that manifests itself in early childhood. Autism is characterized by inability to acquire social skills, repetitive behaviors and failure of speech and nonverbal communication development. Recent studies have shown that genetic mutations occur in majority of individuals with autism. These mutations cause a variety of disorders that ultimately lead to brain disorders. It is noteworthy that all mutations do not follow the same pattern. They encompass various kinds of mutations. Autism needs to be treated during childhood as untreated patients usually do not progress to the later stages of development. In this regard, many studies have been performed and numerous treatments have been proposed to improve the outcome of this disease.

Conclusion: In this review, we have discussed new advancements made in understanding the pathophysiology of autism. Furthermore, we have also discussed new treatments which have been proposed and have successfully translated affected children. Overall, it is concluded that new advances have largely helped these patients.

Cancer grade classification is a challenging task identified from the cell structure of healthy and abnormal tissues. The partitioner learns about the malignant cell through the grading and plans the treatment strategy accordingly. A major portion of researchers used DL models for grade classification.

Learning the language of antibody hypervariability.

Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA 02139.

Protein language models (PLMs) have demonstrated impressive success in modeling proteins. However, general-purpose "foundational" PLMs have limited performance in modeling antibodies due to the latter's hypervariable regions, which do not conform to the evolutionary conservation principles that such models rely on. In this study, we propose a transfer learning framework called Antibody Mutagenesis-Augmented Processing (AbMAP), which fine-tunes foundational models for antibody-sequence inputs by supervising on antibody structure and binding specificity examples.

metaGE: Investigating genotype x environment interactions through GWAS meta-analysis.

Génétique Quantitative et Evolution - Le Moulon, INRAE, CNRS, AgroParisTech, Université Paris-Saclay, Gif-sur-Yvette, France.

Elucidating the genetic components of plant genotype-by-environment interactions is of key importance in the context of increasing climatic instability, diversification of agricultural practices and pest pressure due to phytosanitary treatment limitations. The genotypic response to environmental stresses can be investigated through multi-environment trials (METs). However, genome-wide association studies (GWAS) of MET data are significantly more complex than that of single environments.

Universidade Estadual Paulista, Faculdade de Medicina, Departamento de Clínica Médica, Botucatu, SP, Brazil.

Introduction: Unplanned initiation of renal replacement therapy (RRT) in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients is a common situation worldwide. In this scenario, peritoneal dialysis (PD) has emerged as a therapeutic option compared to hemodialysis (HD). In planned RRT, the costs of PD are lower than those of HD; however, the literature lacks such analyses when initiation is urgent.

is a Gram-positive bacterium that is responsible for severe nosocomial infections. The rise of multidrug-resistant strains, which can pose significant health threats, prompts the development of new treatment interventions, and much attention has been directed at the development of prophylactic and therapeutic vaccination strategies. Capsular polysaccharides (CPs) are key protective elements of the cell wall and have been proposed as promising candidate antigens.
