Determining the appropriate prosthetic tooth color between the clinician, patient and technician is a difficult process due to metamerism. Introduction: Patients with psoriasis (PsO) and permanent spinal cord injuries (SCI) resulting in paraplegia and tetraplegia may experience a higher rate of infections compared to patients with PsO without SCI. It can result in further challenges for therapeutic management with immunosuppressants (biological and non-biological treatments). Thus, we aimed to evaluate the rate of infections in patients with PsO and SCI treated with systemic immunosuppressants.

Objectives: The aim of the study is to compare the clinical efficacy of the application of "Armenicum" paste as an adjunct to SRP for the non-surgical treatment of patients with periodontitis.
Methods: The current RCT prospective study was conducted on 157 patients with chronic periodontitis. The patients were blind randomly assigned into two groups: Group A (SRP + Armenicum" paste) 81 patients (42 males and 39 females, 37 to 68 years) and Group B (SRP) 76 patients (39 males and 37 females, 37 to 68 years).

Background: Advanced liver fibrosis in cases of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) leads to cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. The current gold standard for liver fibrosis is invasive liver biopsy. Therefore, a less invasive biomarker that accurately reflects the stage of liver fibrosis is highly desirable.
