Coordination networks (CNs), such as, for instance, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), can turn into remarkable magnets, with various topologies of spin carriers and unique opportunities of cross-coupling to other functionalities. Alternatively, distinct inorganic subnetworks that are spatially segregated by organic ligands can lead to coexisting magnetic systems in a single bulk material. Here, we present a system of two CNs of general formula Mn(HO) (OOC-(CH) -COO). The compound with two water molecules and one aromatic ring ( x = 2; y = 1) has a single two-dimensional magnetic subnet, while the material with x = 1.5 and y = 2 shows, additionally, another type of magnetic layer. In analogy to magnetic multilayers that are deposited by physical methods, these materials can be regarded as metal-organic magnetic multilayers (MOMMs), where the stacking of different types of magnetic layers is controlled by the choice of an organic ligand during the chemical synthesis. This work further paves the way toward organic-inorganic nanostructures with functional magnetic properties.

Objective: To explore the value of combined radiomics and deep learning models using different machine learning algorithms based on mammography (MG) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for predicting axillary lymph node metastasis (ALNM) in breast cancer (BC). The objective is to provide guidance for developing scientifically individualized treatment plans, assessing prognosis, and planning preoperative interventions.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical and imaging data from 270 patients with BC confirmed by surgical pathology at the Third Hospital of Shanxi Medical University between November 2022 and April 2024.

The introduction of benchtop NMR instruments has made NMR spectroscopy a more accessible, affordable option for research and industry, but the lower spectral resolution and SNR of a signal acquired on low magnetic field spectrometers may complicate the quantitative analysis of spectra. In this work, we compare the performance of multiple neural network architectures in the task of converting simulated 100 MHz NMR spectra to 400 MHz with the goal of improving the quality of the low-field spectra for analyte quantification. Multi-layered perceptron networks are also used to directly quantify metabolites in simulated 100 and 400 MHz spectra for comparison.

Objective: We comprehensively characterized a large pediatric cohort with focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) type 1 to expand the phenotypic spectrum and to identify predictors of postsurgical outcomes.
Methods: We included pediatric patients with histopathological diagnosis of isolated FCD type 1 and at least 1 year of postsurgical follow-up. We systematically reanalyzed clinical, electrophysiological, and radiological features.

Background: Accurate identification of pathologic grade before operation is helpful for guiding clinical treatment decisions and improving the prognosis for soft tissue sarcoma (STS).
Purpose: To construct and assess a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based radiomics nomogram incorporating intratumoral habitats (subregions of clusters of voxels containing similar features) and peritumoral features for the preoperative prediction of the pathological grade of STS.
Methods: The MRI data of 145 patients with STS (74 low-grade and 71 high-grade) from 4 hospitals were retrospectively collected, including enhanced T1-weighted and fat-suppressed-T2-weighted sequences.

The brain is a highly complex and delicate system, and its internal neural processes are manifested as the interweaving and superposition of multi-frequency neural signals. However, traditional brain network studies are often limited to the whole frequency band or a specific frequency band, ignoring the potentially profound impact of the diversity of information within the frequency on the dynamics of brain networks. To comprehensively and deeply analyze this phenomenon, the present study is devoted to exploring the specific performance of brain networks at different frequencies.
