Objective: Unenhanced MRI, indirect MR arthrography, direct MR arthrography, and CT arthrography are each currently used to evaluate patients with recurrent knee pain after meniscus surgery. The purpose of this study is to review the evidence for the use of these examinations in patients with suspected recurrent meniscus tear.
Conclusion: Direct and indirect MR arthrography are superior to conventional MRI for the assessment of the postoperative meniscus after meniscus repair or partial meniscectomy involving more than 25% of the meniscus.

Objective: To perform non-invasive Electroarthrography (EAG) on live horses and establish relationships between EAG and direct measurements of cartilage streaming potentials in weight bearing areas of the equine metacarpophalangeal joint.
Design: EAG was performed bilaterally on the metacarpophalangeal joints of live horses (n = 3). Separate experiments used metacarpophalangeal joint explants (n = 11) to measure EAG obtained during simulated loading followed by direct measurements of cartilage streaming potentials on joint surfaces using the Arthro-BST probe.

Background: Delayed gadolinium-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging of cartilage (dGEMRIC) allows objective and noninvasive assessment of cartilage quality. An interim analysis 1 year after correction of femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) previously showed that the dGEMRIC index decreased despite good clinical outcome.
Purpose: To evaluate dGEMRIC indices longitudinally in patients who underwent FAI correction and in a control group undergoing nonoperative treatment for FAI.
