Background: To study the clinical effect of low molecular heparin on unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion (URSA).
Methods: A total of 120 URSA patients were collected in our hospital from October 2015 to September 2017. They were divided into two groups: control group (n = 60) and observation group (n = 60). The patients in the control group were administered with progesterone and human chorionic gonadotropin, and the observation group with low molecular heparin. Pregnancy outcomes, incidence of complications in pregnancy and adverse drug reactions were compared in the two groups.
Results: The pregnancy success rate of patients in the observation group (90.00%) is higher than that in the control group (68.33%) (p < 0.05). The incidence of complications in pregnancy in the observation group (90.00%) is lower than those in the control group (68.33%) (p < 0.05). The incidence of adverse drug reactions between the patients in the observation group (20.00%) and those in the control group (23.33%) showed no significant difference (p > 0.05).
Conclusions: Low molecular heparin treatment can improve pregnancy success rate and reduce the incidence of complications in the URSA patients. Low molecular heparin is characterized by safety and reliability and has potential for application in clinic.

Thermogravimetry coupled with simultaneous evolved gas analysis by mass spectrometry was used for discerning organic compounds released during the thermal degradation of paint whose chemical compositions are not readily accessible. Thermogravimetric analyses up to 600°C revealed distinct degradation patterns under inert and oxidative conditions. Significant degradation of paint initiates at around 360°C and concludes at 500°C in a nitrogen atmosphere.

Objective: In this study, we examined the genetic, medical, and molecular traits of two Han Chinese families with the tRNA G5783A mutation to investigate the relationship between mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) mutations and major depressive disorder (MDD).
Methods: Clinical data and comprehensive mitochondrial genomes were collected from the two families. Variants were assessed for evolutionary conservation, allelic frequencies, and their structural and functional impacts.

Inefficient control of elevated blood sugar levels can lead to certain health complications such as diabetic nephropathy (DN) and cardiovascular disease (CVD). The identification of effective biomarkers for monitoring diabetes was performed in the present study. The present study aimed to investigate the implications of long non-coding RNA megacluster (lnc-MGC), microRNA (miR)-132 and miR-133a, and their correlation with lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) activity and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1C) levels to identify biomarkers for the early diagnosis of diabetes mellitus, induced DN and CVD.

Understanding the molecular interactions between porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome viruses (PRRSVs) and host cells is crucial for developing effective strategies against PRRSV. CD163, predominantly expressed in porcine macrophages and monocytes, is a key receptor for PRRSV infection. CD169, also known as Sialoadhesin, has emerged as a potential receptor facilitating PRRSV internalization.

Purpose: To compare the outcomes of using prophylactic direct oral anti-coagulants (DOAC) and low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) after major urologic surgery.
Materials And Methods: Systematic literature searches of MEDLINE, Embase, Web of Science, and Cochrane CENTRAL were performed up to 9 November 2023, and protocols were registered on PROSPERO (CRD42024494424). The primary outcomes were post-operative incidence of VTE and bleeding.
