The chemical investigation of the leaves and stem bark of (Fabaceae) led to the isolation of a new oleanane-type triterpenoid saponin named polyacanthoside A together with fifteen known compounds. Their structures were established from spectral , mainly HRESIMS, 1D NMR and 2D NMR and by comparison with literature data. The cytotoxicity of compound and the analogues as well as doxorubicin was determined in a panel of 9 cancer cell lines including sensitive and drug resistant phenotypes. Unlike the analogue compound as well as doxorubicin displayed cytotoxic effects in all the 9 tested cancer cell lines with IC values ranged from 8.90 μM (towards CCRF-CEM leukemia cells) to 35.21 μM (towards HepG2 hepatocarcinoma cells) for compound and from 0.02 μM (towards CCRF-CEM leukemia cells) to 66.83 μM (against CEM/ADR5000 leukemia cells) for doxorubicin.

Introduction: Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a rare haematological cancer with poor 5-years overall survival (OS) and high relapse rate. Leukemic cells are sensitive to Natural Killer (NK) cell mediated killing. However, NK cells are highly impaired in AML, which promote AML immune escape from NK cell immune surveillance.

Background: This study aims to identify the hub genes and immune-related pathways in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) to provide new theories for immunotherapy.
Methods: We use bioinformatics methods to find and verify the hub gene. At the same time, we use the results of GSEA enrichment analysis to find immune-related mediators.

Neutrophil elastase () mutations are the most common cause of cyclic (CyN) and congenital neutropenia (SCN), two autosomal dominant disorders causing recurrent infections due to impaired neutrophil production. Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) corrects neutropenia but has adverse effects, including bone pain and in some cases, an increased risk of myelodysplasia (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is an alternative but is limited by its complications and donor availability.

Introduction: Intestinal lymphoma may be latent in some dogs with chronic inflammatory enteropathy. Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) have potential therapeutic applications for refractory chronic inflammatory enteropathy, but their impact on the development of potential intestinal lymphomas has not yet been evaluated. Therefore, this study was performed to investigate the effect of canine adipose-derived MSCs (cADSCs) on the growth of canine lymphoma cell lines to assess the safety of MSC-based therapy in terms of pro- and anti-tumorigenic effects.
