Rationale: Chordomas are malignant neoplasms derived from incomplete regression of notochordal tissue along the craniococcygeal axis.It is rare for Chordoma arising from the lumbar spine and the traditional long-term prognosis is typically poor.
Patient Concerns: The persistent pain in the left side of the waist about 2 years.
Diagnoses: Chordoma.
Interventions: The patient was treated with surgical resection of the total tumor, followed by the spinal internal fixation of L1 to L2 with pedicle screws.
Outcomes: After 5 month follow-up,we find the recurrence in the original lesion. At the 15 month follow-up,the patient was dead after a lot of times revisit by various doctor.
Lessons: So It is suggest that the diagnosis should be carried out accurately at the early stage, the lesions and source of lesions should be cut away as broadly as possible, also the radiation and chemotherapy should be carried out after the operation as necessary.

Objective: To explore feasibility, clinical and imaging outcomes of percutaneous endoscopic interlaminar discectomy (PEID) for single level large lumbar disc herniation(LDH).
Methods: From October 2018 to March 2023, 31 patients with single level LDH treated with PEID were retrospectively analyzed. Among patients, including 18 males and 13 females, aged from 15 to 40 years old with an average of (28.

Giant cell tumors (GCTs) of bone are classified as intermediate malignant tumors with a significant potential for local infiltration. Despite their benign histopathological appearance, these tumors exhibit extreme local aggression. The sacrum is the most commonly affected spinal region, followed by the lumbar, cervical, and thoracic regions.

Background: Currently, traditional UBE surgery, which is based on arthroscope, has been increasingly employed for complex lumbar degenerative diseases. However, this approach is associated with complications such as intraoperative dural sac tears, nerve root injuries, and postoperative epidural hematomas. In response to these challenges, we propose a novel technique utilizing uniaxial spinal endoscope to replace arthroscope-Unilateral Bi/Multi-Portal Endoscopy (UME).
