The femoropoliteal segment is a common target for endovascular intervention and the unique biomechanical forces on the arteries increase the risk of restenosis This large meta-analysis supports drug coated balloons as the initial endovascular strategy due to lower risk of target lesion revascularization compared to other modalities Whether there are subgroups of patients or lesion types that benefit from an alternative revascularization approach is unclear and warrants investigation.

The emergence of generative artificial intelligence (AI) models specializing in the generation of new data with the statistical patterns and properties of the data upon which the models were trained has profoundly influenced a range of academic disciplines, industry and public discourse. Combined with the vast amounts of diverse data now available to ecologists, from genetic sequences to remotely sensed animal tracks, generative AI presents enormous potential applications within ecology. Here we draw upon a range of fields to discuss unique potential applications in which generative AI could accelerate the field of ecology, including augmenting data-scarce datasets, extending observations of ecological patterns and increasing the accessibility of ecological data.

Conductive organohydrogel fibers based on sodium alginate (SA) exhibit remarkable flexibility and electrical conductivity, making them ideal candidates for conformal skin adhesion and real-time monitoring of human activity signals. However, traditional conductive hydrogels often suffer from issues such as uneven distribution of conductive fillers, and achieving the integration of high mechanical strength, stretchability, and transparency using environmentally friendly methods remains a significant challenge. In this study, a novel and sustainable strategy was developed to fabricate dual-network organohydrogel fibers using sodium alginate as the primary material.

Nanocomposites that mimic the characteristics of enzymes, commonly as nanozymes, can function as an efficient sensing material with high selectivity towards the targeted biological macromolecule. These nanozymes overcome of the challenges that arise when using natural enzymes as sensing material. This study presents a novel nanozyme, Copper Selenite (CuSeO) nanoparticles mounted on f-CNF, to electrochemically determine a potential cardiovascular biomarker, Glutathione (GSH).

Glyphosate is a non-selective herbicide widely used in agriculture, and its overexposure poses significant health and environmental risks. Herein, a novel Cu-coordinated fluorescent sensing system (HYBC-Cu system) based on acylhydrazone groups was designed, capable of glyphosate-specific recognition. The HYBC-Cu system was constructed with simple steps, with the advantages of short recognition time (< 1 min), good specificity, anti-interference, and excellent sensitivity (LOD = 95 nM).
