Unlabelled: To report a case of recurrent hypotony and choroidal effusion following trabeculectomy.
Observations: A 70 year old male with advanced pseudoexfoliation glaucoma in both eyes underwent trabeculectomy in the left eye. Initially intraocular pressure (IOP) was controlled without topical therapy, but dorzolamide-timolol and brimonidine were added when IOP elevated above target. Aqueous suppressant glaucoma medications were thought to cause three episodes of hypotony resolving with discontinuation of these medications. Conclusions and Importance: Although hypotony and choroidal detachment associated with the use of aqueous suppressants is rare, it should be considered in patients with hypotony of unclear etiology following a glaucoma filtering procedure. Aqueous suppressants should be discontinued and it is recommended that the glaucoma drop regimen be switched to non-aqueous suppressants in patients with these findings.

Aim: To evaluate the short-term efficacy of XEN45 Gel Stent (XEN) implantation for primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) and pseudoexfoliation (PEX) glaucoma across two university eye clinics, aiming to assess the impact of varying center-specific protocols during the first postoperative year.

Background/ Aims: To analyze the longitudinal change in Bruch's membrane opening minimal rim width (BMO-MRW) and peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer (pRNFL) thickness using optical coherence tomography (OCT) after implantation of a PRESERFLO® microshunt for surgical glaucoma management in adult glaucoma patients.
Methods: Retrospective data analysis of 59 eyes of 59 participants undergoing implantation of a PRESERFLO microshunt between 2019 and 2022 at a tertiary center for glaucoma management. Surgical management included primary temporary occlusion of the glaucoma shunt to prevent early hypotony.

Preserflo MicroShunt (PMS) implantation is a minimally invasive surgical procedure for treating glaucoma. Postoperative hypotony, a common complication of PMS implantation, can be prevented and treated with 10-0 nylon insertion. In this report, we present a case of postoperative hypotony following PMS implantation that was treated with intraluminal insertion of 9-0 nylon.
