Introduction: While open repair was the gold standard treatment of atherosclerotic abdominal aortic aneurysms, its place in the treatment of inflammatory aortic aneurysms remains controversial.

Aim: To specify the place of endovascular repair in the treatment of inflammatory aneurysms.

Observation: We report 2 cases of inflammatory aortic aneurysms. The first patient was followed for Behçet's disease and the other patient for Giant Cell arteritis 's disease. We noted a biological inflammatory syndrome. CT scan suggested the diagnosis of inflammatory aortic aneurysm. We have implemented a bifurcated stent graft for the patient with a Behcet's disease. For the second patient, we converted to conventional surgery. Corticosteroid therapy was prescribed in two cases with favorable evolution.

Conclusion: Endovascular repair is a good alternative to surgery for inflammatory aneurysms. Medical therapy occupies a prominent place in its therapeutic management.

Vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) undergo metabolic pathway transitions, including aerobic glycolysis, fatty acid oxidation, and amino acid metabolism, which are important for their function. Metabolic dysfunction in VSMCs can lead to age-related vascular diseases. -GlcNAcylation, a nutrient-dependent posttranslational modification linked specifically to glucose metabolism, plays an important role in this context.

Cholesterol aggregation in dendritic cells (DCs) triggers an inflammatory response and accelerates the development of atherosclerosis (AS). Resveratrol (RES), a natural compound with anti-inflammatory and cholesterol metabolism regulatory properties, has been shown to influence the maturation and inflammatory functions of DCs. However, its relationship with cholesterol metabolism remains unclear.

(PR) is a tropical plant used as a spice in Southeast Asia. This study investigated the antithrombotic effect of PR in rats with acute thrombosis induced by collagen and epinephrine (CE). The rats were divided into four groups, control (CON), CE, PR15, and PR30, with PR administered at 15 and 30 mg/kg body weight.

Background: Magnolia kobus DC (MO), as a plant medicine, has been reported to have various physiological activities, including neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, and anti-diabetic effects. However, vascular protective effects of MO remain incompletely understood. In this study, we evaluated the vascular protective effect of MO against ferroptosis in a carotid artery ligation (CAL)-induced neointimal hyperplasia mouse model and in aortic thoracic smooth muscle A7r5 cells.

The high mortality rate of chronic heart failure (CHF) makes it a primary battlefield in the field of cardiovascular diseases. Qiangxin Lishui Prescription (QLP) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) prescription used clinically for treating CHF, but its underlying mechanism remains unclear. This study integrated plasma metabolomics, network pharmacology, and experimental validation to reveal the pharmacological effects of QLP and its potential mechanism of anti-CHF.
