The risk of cardiovascular disease differs among various ethnic groups, highlighting disparities in cardiovascular health among different populations. While multiple studies from other countries have looked at changes in physiological parameters during autonomic function tests like isometric handgrip and cold pressor tests, no correlational research has been done in Saudi Arabia. This lacuna underscores the importance of examining the relationship between cardiorespiratory parameters in young Saudi Arabian individuals during these tests.

Black girls in the United States are disproportionately diagnosed with sexually transmitted infections (STIs), which can increase the risk of contracting HIV (human immunodeficiency virus), compared to adolescent girls of other races. Therefore, this study was designed to understand barriers to impactful HIV/STI and substance use prevention programmes for Black girls. Data was collected between October 2021 and June 2022 from twelve focus groups which included (N = 62) participants who identified as Black and female between the ages of 13 and 18 years old.

Background: Preventure is a selective school-based personality-targeted program that has shown long-term benefits in preventing student alcohol use, internalising and externalising problems when delivered by psychologists. In this first Australian randomised controlled trial of school staff implementation of Preventure, we aimed to examine i) acceptability, feasibility, and fidelity and ii) effectiveness of Preventure on student alcohol use, internalising, and externalising symptoms.

Purpose: This study explores uses of artificial intelligence (AI) in health professions education for non-psychomotor skills training at undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing health professions education levels for education program development, delivery, and evaluation.

Method: This scoping review was conducted in 5 stages: (1) planning and research, (2) search strategy, (3) screening and selection, (4) review and recording data, and (5) synthesis. Seven bibliographic databases were searched using the main search terms artificial intelligence and continuing health professional education for articles that used AI for the purposes of non-psychomotor skills training for health professions education and involved health care professionals and/or trainees.
