Horizontal cleavage tears of the medial and lateral meniscus can be difficult to treat using the standard anteromedial or anterolateral arthroscopy portals. In this Technical Note, we present a new surgical technique to better manage the inferior leaflet of horizontal cleavage tears of the medial and lateral meniscus and their associated parameniscal cysts.

Historically, HCTs have been treated with partial meniscectomy, but multiple studies have shown the long-term risks of development of arthritic changes in the knee following meniscectomy. Background: Bipartite medial cuneiform bone (BMC) is located at the Lisfranc joint of the midfoot, and it represents a rare variant involving two separate ossification centers in the medial cuneiform bone. Although BMC is typically asymptomatic, it can become clinically relevant under conditions of trauma or chronic stress, affecting foot stability.
Case Report: The current imaging report describes a 48-year-old female presenting with chronic dorsal midfoot pain, worsened by extended standing and ambulation.

NUIL are followed by nail surgeons to help regrowth of a normal nail; however, they are not widely understood or respected during nail surgery.

HCTs are a common tear pattern, especially as we age, and are estimated to occur in 23% to 32% of meniscus tears. They occur in both males and females, are more common on the medial than the lateral side, and most often occur with minor to normal trauma in an anterior cruciate ligament intact knee.
