Traumatic testis dislocation is an uncommon condition and usually occurs after direct impact on the scrotum. We present an uncommon case of bilateral testicular dislocation caused by an automotive accident, which is the most frequently associated cause described in literature today. Although the fact that diagnosis can be made either by physical examination or with the use of basic exams such as Doppler ultrasound, it is not uncommon for cases to go undetected and diagnosed late. In this case, there was a late diagnosis, almost one year after the motorcycle accident. Despite this, studies describe preservation of spermatogenesis even after delayed surgical correction. The treatment can be made by manual reduction, but most of the cases need surgical correction. Therefore, it is always necessary to perform the complete physical examination of the polytrauma patient on the first medical exam, in order to avoid the risk of fertility loss, endocrine dysfunction, and future malignancy.

Pelvic ring fractures are often accompanied by complications, including vascular injuries such as life-threatening intra-abdominal bleeding and urinary tract damage resulting from direct external force. While urethral and bladder injuries are the most common urologic complications, testicular dislocation is rarely reported. Traumatic testicular dislocation (TTD), although uncommon, is frequently associated with motorcycle accidents and remains relatively unfamiliar to orthopedic surgeons, which can lead to delayed diagnosis.

Background: The fertility of roosters significantly impacts the economic outcome of the poultry industry. However, it is common for some roosters to fail to produce semen during production, and the underlying reasons remain largely unclear.

Results: To investigate a solution to this problem, induced molting (IM) was performed on no-semen (NS) roosters.

Traumatic testicular dislocation is a rare consequence of blunt scrotal injury. Testicular dislocation typically results from high-energy trauma, such as motor vehicle accidents or falls, leading to dislodgement of the testicle from its normal anatomical position. We present a rare case of a young man with traumatic unilateral dislocation and exteriorisation of the testicle through a sub corona penile defect, following a high-speed motorbike accident.

Article Synopsis
  • - The text discusses the importance of timely management of spine and pelvis fractures following road traffic accidents, highlighting the rarity and potential severity of testicular dislocation as a complication.
  • - A case study is presented involving a 25-year-old male who suffered significant injuries from a motorcycle accident, including an APC fracture of the pelvic ring and a compression fracture of the spine, with no initial genitourinary injury detected.
  • - The report emphasizes the need for thorough genital examinations in complex pelvic injuries and advocates for a multidisciplinary approach among various medical specialties to improve patient outcomes.

Article Synopsis
  • The study aimed to examine how oral exposure to iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe₂O₃NPs) affects male rat reproduction.
  • Forty rats were divided into control and three dose groups, receiving different amounts of Fe₂O₃NPs for 28 days, with measures taken on body weight, reproductive organ weights, and sperm analysis.
  • Results showed significant disorganization in sperm production and increased sperm deformities in higher dose groups, but no major changes in overall body weight or certain enzyme activities were observed.
