An EMR should support the informational needs of nursing practice. However, a multidimensional measure of the actual use of an EMR in hospitals ranked at different adoption stages revealed significant results that should be addressed to enable nurses to bring their full contribution to their patients and to the healthcare team.

This article synthesizes current evidence regarding psychedelics' effects on nature relatedness and social connectedness, examining underlying mechanisms through the framework of self-other overlap. Psychedelics appear to facilitate self-expansion through two complementary mechanisms: ego dissolution, which temporarily alters self-boundaries, and enhanced emotional processing, which increases empathic concern.
