Unlabelled: The use of microcomputed tomography (Micro-CT) for imaging biological samples has burgeoned in the past decade, due to increased access to scanning platforms, ease of operation, isotropic three-dimensional image information, and the ability to derive accurate quantitative data. However, manual data analysis of Micro-CT images can be laborious and time intensive. Deep learning offers the ability to streamline this process, but historically has included caveats-namely, the need for a large amount of training data, which is often limited in many Micro-CT studies.

These complex networks have been shown to be disrupted during aging, disease, and cancer. However, profiling these networks across diverse cell types and states has been limited due to the technical constraints of existing methods for mapping DNA:Protein interactions in single cells.

Background: The primary aim of our study was to identify candidate characteristics that predicted a successful outcome for applicants to anesthesiology residency programs in the 2024 Main Residency Match. The secondary aim of our study was to assess the impact of gold and silver signals on the application process.
Methods: The Baylor Scott & White Research Institute institutional review board approved this study.

Background Clinicians use prognostic biomarker/multi-gene-based tests for predicting recurrence in hormone receptor-positive/HER2-negative (HR+/HER2-) early-stage breast cancer (EBC). CanAssist Beast (CAB) uses the expression of five protein biomarkers in combination with tumor-specific parameters such as tumor size, histopathological grade, and lymph node status to predict the risk of distant recurrence within five years of diagnosis for patients with HR+/HER2-, EBC. The current study aimed to evaluate the impact of prognostic tests on adjuvant chemotherapy decisions by assessing the agreement between clinical and CAB risk stratification as low-risk (LR) or high-risk (HR) for distant recurrence.

Introduction: Trismus is a common complication of head and neck cancer (HNC) treatment. Understanding its prevalence and its risk factors is vital for enhancing clinical outcomes and the overall quality of life of these patients.
Objective: The study aimed to assess the prevalence and the factors associated with trismus among HNC patients.
