Systemic siliconomas following breast implant rupture.

We report a case of a woman in her late 40s with a history of breast implant surgery following breast cancer treatment. She presented with asymmetrical breast enlargement, palpable contralateral axillary lymph nodes and cutaneous nodules on both forearms. In addition, imaging evaluation revealed intracapsular implant rupture, ipsilateral internal mammary enlarged lymph nodes and multiple mediastinal lymphadenopathies.

Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1), which is also known as von Recklinghausen's disease, is a multisystem genetic disease that is principally associated with cutaneous, neurologic and orthopedic manifestations. The present case report described an unusual case with a giant cutaneous neoplasm on the right breast skin of a 36-year-old female who was admitted to the Department of Breast Surgery at the Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University (Urumqi, China). Skin mass excision was performed and histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of thoracic plexiform neurofibroma as a primary presentation of NF1.

Giant cell tumor of soft tissue (GCT-ST) is an extremely rare phenomenon in the breast. Herein, a case involving a 75-year-old female with a painless lump and bloody discharge from the nipple of her left breast is reported. A diagnosis of malignant tumor was arrived at by observing the location of the tumor, interior echo, margins, vascular distribution, hardness, and microvascular density on preoperative multimodal ultrasonography.
