Deriving from logical and mechanical interactions between DNA strands and complexes, DNA-based artificial reaction networks (RNs) are attractive for their high programmability, as well as cascading and fan-out ability, which are similar to the basic principles of electronic logic gates. Arising from the dream of creating novel computing mechanisms, researchers have placed high hopes on the development of DNA-based dynamic RNs and have strived to establish the basic theories and operative strategies of these networks. This review starts by looking back on the evolution of DNA dynamic RNs; in particular' the most significant applications in biochemistry occurring in recent years. Finally, we discuss the perspectives of DNA dynamic RNs and give a possible direction for the development of DNA circuits.

Bacterial pathogens possess a remarkable capacity to sense and adapt to ever-changing environments. For example, Vibrio cholerae, the causative agent of the severe diarrheal disease cholera, thrives in aquatic ecosystems and human hosts through dynamic survival strategies. In this study, we investigated the role of three photolyases, enzymes that repair DNA damage caused by exposure to UV radiation and blue light, in the environmental survival of V.

The plastivore insect Tenebrio molitor demonstrates significant potential for the rapid biodegradation and bioremediation of micro(nano)plastics. However, real-time visualization of the digestive degradation and removal of microplastics (MPs) during intestinal transit, along with the associated in vivo intestinal functional responses, remains challenging. Here, we developed second near-infrared (NIR-II) window aggregated-induced emission (AIE) MPs of two sizes (29.

Plant-plant interactions are major determinants of the dynamics of terrestrial ecosystems. There is a long tradition in the study of these interactions, their mechanisms and their consequences using experimental, observational and theoretical approaches. Empirical studies overwhelmingly focus at the level of species pairs or small sets of species.

Purpose: Pseudoprogression is an atypical imaging pattern of response to immunotherapy in patients with brain tumors. MR perfusion studies in this field are limited. The purpose of our study is to compare the perfusion features between pseudoprogression lesions in malignant gliomas and brain metastases treated with immunotherapy (iPsP) and the pseudoprogression after chemo-radiation therapy and radiation necrosis after radiation treatment (ChR-PsP & RN).

Many foreign-educated physicians (FEPs) are transitioning to licensed registered nurses (RNs) in the United States, a process that helps decrease the nursing shortage. There is a gap in knowledge regarding how they transform from medical to nursing professionals. This information could assist FEPs to effectively transition into the nursing role.
