Purpose: To report a rare case of solitary eyelid neurofiboma presenting as tarsal cyst.
Observation: A 64 year old male, presented with a painless, non progressive swelling in the right upper eye lid. Examination revealed a non tender, firm, mass adherent to the underlying tarsus. Excision via a conjunctival approach was performed and the histopathology was suggestive of neurofibroma. Immunohistochemistry was positive for Vimentin and focally positive for S-100. The patient did not have any features of neurofibromatosis.
Conclusion: and Importance: Solitary neurofibroma of the eyelid does not have any systemic association with neurofibromatosis, and only seven such cases have been reported in English literature. We report a case of solitary neurofibroma of the eyelid presenting as tarsal cyst. A thorough review of literature of previously reported cases is included.

The paper presents a detailed gross anatomical description of the elements of the pelvic limb in the African green monkey and provides comparative and differential elements on pelvic limb monkey osteology. The osteometric investigation adds value to the gross morphological and radiological investigation, adjoining metric data to the gross descriptive data set. The main methodology used was the gross morphological investigation, doubled by regular osteometrical and radiographical assessments.

Objective: Soft tissue defects and postoperative wound healing complications related to calcaneus fractures may result in significant morbidity. The aim of this study was to investigate whether percutaneous minimally invasive screw internal fixation (PMISIF) can change this situation in the treatment of calcaneal fractures, and aimed to explore the mechanical effects of different internal fixation methods on Sanders type III calcaneal fractures through finite element analysis.
Methods: This retrospective analysis focused on 83 patients with Sanders II and III calcaneal fractures from March 2017 to March 2022.

The tarsal tunnel contains the tibial nerve, posterior tibial artery, and tendons of the tibialis posterior, flexor digitorum longus, and flexor hallucis longus muscles.

Necrotizing fasciitis is a severe and rapidly progressing soft tissue infection that requires immediate intervention. However, its manifestation as tarsal tunnel syndrome in a diabetic patient is an extremely rare occurrence, with no previous reports found in the existing literature. We present a case report of a patient in their late 50s with uncontrolled diabetes who had necrotizing fasciitis and presented initially to the emergency department with hypotension.
