Background: The most widely recognized eyebrow model was described by Westmore in 1974. With the rapidly changing concept of beauty, an accurate up-to-date model is needed.

Methods: The Westmore model was tested on fashion models that were randomly selected from the covers of the 1965-1975 (group 1) and 2006-2016 (group 2) Vogue magazine. The eyebrows of fashion models, which represent the beauty ideals of these decades, were objectively measured and compared. We proposed a modified eyebrow model more adapted to the modern standards of beauty, applied it to group 2, and objectively compared it to the Westmore model. This new model was validated on a group of randomly selected Caucasian women.

Results: Thirty women were included in each group. The medial edge of the eyebrow was better defined by the Westmore model in group 1 compared to group 2. The lateral edge of the eyebrow was better defined by the Westmore model in group 2. The peak of the eyebrow was not well defined by the Westmore model in both groups. The new model was more adapted than the Westmore model for both the medial edge and the peak of the eyebrow in group 2. It was also accurate in non-model Caucasian women.

Conclusion: Eyebrow morphology has evolved since the description of the Westmore model. Our model represents a simple way to accurately predict the eyebrow landmarks according to the modern ideals of beauty.

Purpose: Mental health and substance use social workers must be prepared to work with people with disabilities, as this population has higher rates of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and ACEs can lead to mental health and substance use problems. The study's purpose is to assess the moderating effect of disability on the interrelationships among ACEs, mental health, and binge drinking.

Materials And Methods: Using data from the 2021 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) survey, we first used multigroup confirmatory factor analysis to establish the underlying factor structure of the ACEs questionnaire for respondents with and without disabilities.

Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the association of -924 G>A (rs2232365) and -3279 C>A (rs3761548) FOXP3 variants with IBD susceptibility, clinical and endoscopic activity, and IL-10 and TGF-β1 plasma levels.

Method: The study included 110 IBD female patients, 60 with Ulcerative Colitis (UC) and 50 with Crohn's Disease (CD), and 154 female controls. FOXP3 variants were determined with Polymerase Chain Reaction-Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism (PCR-RFLP).

Purpose: The aim of the present study was to evaluate the IL6 -174 G>C (rs1800795) and -572 G>C (rs1800796) genetic variants and their association with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs), disease activity, and response to TNF-α inhibitors.

Methods: The study included 178 patients with IBD and 224 healthy controls. Among the IBD patients, 66 of them were in use of TNF-α inhibitors therapy and were followed during 48 weeks and categorized as responders and non-responders.
