Purpose: To analyse anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) parameters of graft dehiscence after Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK) for graft failure post penetrating keratoplasty (PK).

Methods: Retrospective evaluation of AS-OCT images of 142 dehiscences post-DMEK in 75 eyes. Dehiscences' size, depth, location, correlation with graft-host interface (GHI) override and step at GHI were assessed.

Background: PSMA PET/CT emerges as a pivotal technology in the diagnostic landscape of prostate cancer (PCa). It offers a suite of imaging interpretation criteria, notably the maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax), the molecular imaging prostate-specific membrane antigen score (miPSMA score), and the PSMA reporting and data system (PSMA-RADS). Identifying the most valuable criteria for diagnosing PCa and standardizing imaging interpretation across various tracers is an unresolved question.

DNA nanotechnology has made initial progress toward developing gene-encoded DNA origami nanoparticles (NPs) that display potential utility for future gene therapy applications. However, due to the challenges involved with gene delivery into cells including transport through the membrane, intracellular targeting, and inherent expression of nucleases along with interference from other active proteins, it can be difficult to more directly study the effect of DNA NP design on subsequent gene expression. In this work, we demonstrate an approach for studying the expression of gene-encoding DNA origami NPs without the use of cells.

Mitochondria contribute to cellular metabolism by providing a specialised milieu for energising cells by incorporating and processing the metabolites. However, heterogeneity in the mitochondria within is only partially elucidated. Mitochondria dynamically alter their morphology and functions during the life of animals, in which cells proliferate and grow.

Objectives: To analyse the aetiological spectrum, clinical presentation and short-term renal outcomes of patients with acute kidney injury of uncertain aetiology subjected to percutaneous renal biopsy.

Methods: The prospective, cohort study was conducted at the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation, Karachi, from March 1 to October 30, 2024, and comprised hospitalised acute kidney injury patients of either gender aged 18- 75 years who had been subjected to percutaneous renal biopsy. The patients were followed up for at least three months from the time of the biopsy.
