A 9-year-old male castrated golden retriever cross was evaluated for an acute onset of ataxia. A complete blood count revealed marked leukocytosis, anemia, and thrombocytopenia. Leukocytosis was characterized by marked lymphocytosis, monocytosis, neutropenia, and eosinopenia.

A 49-year-old female was admitted to our hospital due to acute-onset dysarthria and unstable gait. Brain MR diffusion weighted imaging revealed high signal intensities in the midbrain. Brain tumors, abscess and demyelinating lesions was suspected firstly as etiology of the lesion and antibiotics and antiviral drug were started under consulting with the neurosurgeon about brain biopsy.

: Superior cerebellar artery (SCA) aneurysms are exceedingly rare, posing unique diagnostic and management challenges due to their complex anatomical location within the posterior circulation. The proximity of the SCA to vital structures, such as the brainstem and cerebellum, along with the significant role of poorly controlled hypertension in aneurysm formation, further complicates treatment. This case aims to highlight the surgical approach and management strategies employed in treating a rare SCA aneurysm in a patient with longstanding hypertension.
