Background: Lymphatic metastasis commonly occurs in patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma and medullary thyroid carcinoma. The clinical and imaging characteristics of recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) invasion by extranodal extension (ENE) of metastatic lymph nodes remain understudied. This study aimed to evaluate these characteristics in patients with thyroid carcinoma.

Background: Intraductal carcinoma of the prostate cancer (IDC-P), as a specific pathological type in prostate cancer which usually implies a poor prognosis. IDC-P morphology can be divided into two subtypes: Pattern 1, sieve like or loose cribriform structures; Pattern 2, solid or dense cribriform structures. The purpose of the study is to identify the impact of IDC-P and its subtypes on the prognosis of patients undergoing post-operative radiotherapy (PORT) after radical prostatectomy (RP) due to localized prostate cancer(PCa).

Background: This study aimed to evaluate the prognostic outcomes of thyroidectomy extent in unilateral TNM T1 or T2 papillary thyroid carcinoma with lateral lymph node metastasis.
Methods: Retrospective data were collected from unilateral papillary thyroid carcinoma patients with unilateral lymph node metastasis who underwent surgery at Qilu Hospital of Shandong University from 2011 to 2022. Patients were categorized into 2 groups based on the extent of the thyroidectomy (total thyroidectomy versus lobectomy).

Background: In this study, we aimed to analyze the efficacy and failure patterns of contouring target volume based on the residual tumor and decreasing the dose to the area of tumor regression after neoadjuvant therapy in locoregionally advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC).
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the patients with locoregionally advanced HNSCC treated by our group from May 2011 to June 2023. All patients received neoadjuvant therapy followed by intensity-modulated radiation therapy.

Objective: To develop a multimodal predictive model, Radiomics Integrated TLSs System (RAITS), based on preoperative CT radiomic features for the identification of TLSs in stage I lung adenocarcinoma patients and to evaluate its potential in prognosis stratification and guiding personalized treatment.
Methods: The most recent preoperative chest CT thin-slice scans and postoperative hematoxylin and eosin-stained pathology sections of patients diagnosed with stage I LUAD were retrospectively collected. Tumor segmentation was achieved using an automatic virtual adversarial training segmentation algorithm based on a three-dimensional U-shape convolutional neural network (3D U-Net).
