Müllerian duct anomalies and uterine leiomyomas represent distinctive facets of female reproductive health. While uterine leiomyomas are prevalent reproductive pathologies, the coexistence of Müllerian anomalies and leiomyomas is relatively uncommon. This case study examines the complex medical and surgical management of a woman who initially presented with chronic abdominal pain and swelling.

Purpose: Turmeric extract is a well-known nutraceutical ingredient recognized for its benefits in managing musculoskeletal health. This study evaluated the efficacy and safety of a novel low-dose water-dispersible turmeric extract containing 60% natural curcuminoids (WDTE60N) in participants with mild-to-moderate knee osteoarthritis.
Patients And Methods: This double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial was conducted at two orthopedic centers in Uttar Pradesh, India (July 2023-November 2023).

A 15-year-old girl presented with new onset tonic-clonic seizures, encephalopathy, abdominal pain, and hypertension with a history of weight loss and emesis. Brain magnetic resonance imaging scans showed diffuse, bilateral cortical and subcortical gray and white matter signal abnormalities. Electroencephalography showed background slowing and disorganization.

Introduction: Regional anesthetic blocks are an adjunct to decrease pediatric opioid utilization and improve perioperative pain control. We compared opioid use in patients who underwent umbilical hernia repair (UHR) with or without preoperative bilateral rectus sheath block (BRSB).
Methods: We conducted a single-center retrospective cohort study evaluating opioid use in patients <18 years who underwent an UHR.
