We present an external interferometric setup that is able to simultaneously acquire three wavelengths of the same sample instance without scanning or multiple exposures. This setup projects onto the monochrome digital camera three off-axis holograms with rotated fringe orientations, each from a different wavelength channel, without overlap in the spatial-frequency domain, and thus allows the full reconstruction of the three complex wavefronts from the three wavelength channels. We use this new setup for three-wavelength phase unwrapping, allowing phase imaging of thicker objects than possible with a single wavelength, but without the increased level of noise. We demonstrate the proposed technique for micro-channel profiling and label-free cell imaging.

Significance: We present a motion-resistant three-wavelength spatial frequency domain imaging (SFDI) system with ambient light suppression using an 8-tap complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensor (CIS) developed at Shizuoka University. The system addresses limitations in conventional SFDI systems, enabling reliable measurements in challenging imaging scenarios that are closer to real-world conditions.
Aim: Our study demonstrates a three-wavelength SFDI system based on an 8-tap CIS.

The past decade's development of UV LEDs has fueled significant research in water disinfection, with widespread debate surrounding the potential synergies of multiple UV wavelengths. This study analyses the use of three UV sources (265, 275, and 310 nm) on the inactivation of bacteria in two water matrixes At maximum intensity in wastewater, individual inactivation experiments in a single pass set-up (Flow rate = 2 L min, Residence time = 0.75 s) confirmed the 265 nm light source to be the most effective (2.

Dynamic holographic profiling of thick samples is limited due to the reduced field of view (FOV) of off-axis holography. We present an improved six-pack holography system for the simultaneous acquisition of six complex wavefronts in a single camera exposure from two fields of view (FOVs) and three wavelengths, for quantitative phase unwrapping of thick and extended transparent objects. By dynamically generating three synthetic wavelength quantitative phase maps for each of the two FOVs, with the longest wavelength being 6207 nm, hierarchical phase unwrapping can be used to reduce noise while maintaining the improvements in the 2π phase ambiguity due to the longer synthetic wavelength.
