Eu complex with 1-(2,6-dihydroxyphenyl)ethanone in the solid state has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, UV-visible, FT-IR and FT-Raman spectroscopies, powder X-ray diffraction, electron emission under femtosecond laser excitation. The stoichiometry and the formula of the studied complex have been proposed. Its physicochemical properties have been analyzed in terms of the structure and DFT calculations performed for the ligand. The luminescence and dynamics of the excited states depopulation have been studied using femtosecond laser excitation. Spectral and energetic transformation of femtosecond light impulses has been studied and possibility of the energy transfer between the ligand and the Eu electron levels has been analyzed.

Primary immunodeficiencies (PID), now often referred to as inborn errors of immunity (IEI), are a large heterogeneous group of disorders that result from deficiencies in immune system development and/or function. IEIs can be broadly classified as disorders of adaptive immunity (e.g.

An N,N,N-type Cu(Ⅱ) complex-catalyzed desaturation method for converting alcohols, ketones, lactones, and lactams to their α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds is reported. The dehydrogenation reaction can be conducted with a green terminal oxidant O2 without requiring strong acid/base or stoichiometric oxidants. The Cu(Ⅱ) complex/TEMPO/O2 system uses a non-noble catalyst, and a green terminal oxidant as well as demonstrates high activity and functional group tolerance.

Background: Motion complexity is necessary for adapting to external changes, but little is known about trunk motion complexity during seated perturbation in individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI). We aimed to investigate changes following SCI in trunk segmental motion complexity across different perturbation directions and how they affect postural control ability in individuals with SCI.
Methods: A total of 17 individuals with SCI and 18 healthy controls participated in challenging sagittal-seated perturbations with hand protection.

Background: The heterogeneity of cognitive impairments in schizophrenia has been widely observed. However, reliable cognitive boundaries to differentiate the subgroups remain elusive. The key challenge for cognitive subtyping is applying an integrated and standardized cognitive assessment and understanding the subgroup-specific neurobiological mechanisms.
