: Sixty-eight percent of service members are living with overweight or obesity, some who may not consult a healthcare provider when they decide to lose weight. Instead, they often turn to weight-loss dietary supplements for self-care solutions. Chronic pain is a common symptom in Post-Acute COVID-19 Syndrome (PACS), affecting 11-60% of patients, but the link between COVID-19 and chronic pain remains unclear. This study assesses healthcare resource utilization (HRU) for pain management among French COVID-19 survivors, using the National French Claims Database (SNDS). We analyzed medical consultations, rehabilitation services, diagnostic procedures, and medication dispensing to identify PACS-related pain patterns and their impact on the healthcare system.

Background: Psilocybin therapy (PT) produces rapid and persistent antidepressant effects in major depressive disorder (MDD). However, the long-term effects of PT have never been compared with gold-standard treatments for MDD such as pharmacotherapy or psychotherapy alone or in combination.
Methods: This is a 6-month follow-up study of a phase 2, double-blind, randomised, controlled trial involving patients with moderate-to-severe MDD.

Objectives: In the general hospital wards, machine learning (ML)-based early warning systems (EWSs) can identify patients at risk of deterioration to facilitate rescue interventions. We assess subpopulation performance of a ML-based EWS on medical and surgical adult patients admitted to general hospital wards.
Materials And Methods: We assessed the scores of an EWS integrated into the electronic health record and calculated every 15 minutes to predict a composite adverse event (AE): all-cause mortality, transfer to intensive care, cardiac arrest, or rapid response team evaluation.
