sp. strain M21 was isolated from an environmental sample. In antibacterial screenings, the strain inhibited growth of Gram-positive and Gram-negative test strains. The genome was assembled into 69 contigs with a total size of 5.178 Mb. The strain contains at least nine biosynthetic gene clusters for the production of specialized metabolites.

Recent increases in zoonotic diseases underscore the integration of companion animals into urban environments, posing complex transmission risks and highlighting the necessity of One Health approaches. Respiratory and enteric viruses have been consistently linked to interspecies transmission between humans and animals. This study aimed to assess the circulation of human noroviruses (NoV), human adenoviruses (HAdV), enteroviruses (EV), parechoviruses (PeV-A), human bocaviruses (HBoV), hepatitis A (HAV) and E viruses (HEV), Influenza A and B viruses (Flu A/B), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and SARS-CoV-2 in domestic dogs and cats in Brazil to understand potential zooanthroponosis risks.

Respiratory syncytial virus is a common cause of respiratory infection that often leads to hospitalization of infected younger children and older adults. RSV is classified into two strains, A and B, each with several subgroups or genotypes. One issue with the definition of these subgroups is the lack of a unified method of identification or genotyping.

Background: Breast cancer (BC) treatment with anthracyclines and/or anti-human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2) antibodies is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease complications, including cancer therapy-related cardiac dysfunction (CTRCD). While Cardio-Oncology Rehabilitation (CORe) programs including exercise have emerged to minimize these risks, its role in preventing CTRCD is unclear.
Objectives: We investigated the effectiveness of an exercise-based CORe program in preventing CTRCD [left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) drop ≥10% to a value <53% or a decrease >15% in global longitudinal strain (GLS)].

This study investigated the impact of changes in craft beer formulation, by modifying the unmalted cereal [(durum (Da) and soft (Ri) wheat), emmer (Em)], hops [Cascade (Ca) and Columbus (Co)], and yeast strains [M21 (Wi) - M02 (Ci)], on volatolomic, acidic, and olfactory profiles. Olfactory attributes were evaluated by the trained panel. Volatolomic and acidic profiles were determined by GC-MS.
