Background: Antiretroviral drug simplification is a strategy to reduce drug exposure and improve treatment adherence. Nowadays, dolutegravir plus lamivudine is the most preferred regimen, which might lead in the future with problems related to drug resistance or drug intolerance. This meta-analysis aimed to assess the safety of HAART simplification without integrase inhibitors.

Purpose: The study aimed to explore the reasons, efficacy, and safety of switching to dolutegravir (DTG) based regimens in virologically suppressed people living with HIV (PLWH) in tertiary hospitals in China. Therefore, the study could provide a valuable reference for the rational clinical use of DTG.
Methods: PLWH's basic information, treatment details, and reasons for switching were collected, through the electrical clinical medical record system and telephone follow-up.

Objectives: The availability of doravirine (DOR) allowed clinicians to prescribe a dolutegravir (DTG)-based two-drug regimen (2DR) in individuals not eligible to receive lamivudine (3TC) or rilpivirine (RPV). The aims of this study were to describe the durability of DTG + DOR compared with DTG/3TC and DTG/RPV and the rate of virological failure and target not-detected maintenance over time.
Methods: This retrospective, monocentric analysis included all subjects who started a DTG-based 2DR from 2018 to 2022 as a simplification.

Introduction: The use of tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) has been associated with increased cholesterol and body weight. Real-life data on the metabolic effects of switching from a TAF-based triple regimen to a dolutegravir (DTG)-based two-drug regimen (2-DR) are scarce.
Methods: A retrospective cohort study of patients who have switched from a triple TAF-based regimen to a 2-DR [DTG-lamivudine (DTG-3TC) or DTG- rilpivirine (DTG-RPV]) with at least 6 months of follow-up.

Dolutegravir-based regimens are recommended as first-line therapy for HIV in low- and middle-income countries where tuberculosis is the most common opportunistic infection. Concurrent HIV/tuberculosis treatment is challenging because of drug-drug interactions. Our analysis aimed to characterize dolutegravir's population pharmacokinetics when coadministered with rifampicin and assess alternative dolutegravir dosing regimens.
