Objective: Report a case of an apolipoprotein E (APOE)ε2 carrier receiving lecanemab who developed late onset intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) following amyloid-related imaging abnormalities-hemorrhage (ARIA-H).
Method: We detail the history and neuroimaging findings of a 73-year-old male with Alzheimer's disease (APOEε2/ε3 status) who developed ICH after mild ARIA-H and suffering a fall.
Results: The patient developed mild ARIA-H after his 13th infusion that was proceeded by left temporo-occipital hemorrhage following his 14th infusion.

The Immunization and Vaccines-related Implementation Research Advisory Committee (IVIR-AC) is the primary advisory body of the World Health Organization conducting independent reviews of immunization-related implementation research, with a primary focus on transmission and economic modeling analyses that estimate the value and impact of vaccines. From 10 to 13th September 2024, IVIR-AC convened virtually for its second of two semi-annual meetings to provide feedback and recommendations across six sessions including: pneumococcal vaccination strategies that rely on indirect protection; vaccine impact modeling for chikungunya; The Lancet Commission on strengthening the use of epidemiological modeling of emerging and pandemic infectious diseases; methods for immunization coverage estimation; setting immunization research priorities in the South-East Asian Region; and modeling evidence related to typhoid conjugate vaccine schedules. This report summarizes the sessions, proceedings, and recommendations from that meeting.

ICBS 2022 was a refreshing multi-day event where it was justified that the advancement of chemical biology did not halt due to the pandemic, but in contrast, amazing findings were discovered within the restrictions of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. All aspects of this annual gathering reinforced that interconnecting the branches of chemical biology through collaboration, the sharing of ideas and knowledge, and networking are enabling the discovery and diversification of applications that will arm scientists of this world in "uncovering solutions for diseases."
