High-quality draft genome of the methanotroph Str. HV10-M2 isolated from plant material at a high-altitude environment.

Here we present the genome of strain HV10-M2, a methanotroph isolated from Hardangervidda national park (Norway). This strain represents the second of the two validly published species genus with a sequenced genome.
