A recent phylogenetic study showed that species assigned to the newly recognised genus Szlach., Mytnik & Grochocka (previously treated as Angraecum Bory sect. Pectinaria Benth.) are polyphyletic, comprising a clade with species primarily in Madagascar and the Western Indian Ocean islands (including the type) and another non-sister clade whose members occur in continental Africa and the Gulf of Guinea islands. In order to render monophyletic, the five continental African species must therefore be removed. A new genus, M.Simo & Stévart, is described and the following combinations are made: (Stévart & Droissart) M.Simo & Stévart, (Summerh.) M.Simo & Stévart, (Summerh.) M.Simo & Stévart, (Schltr.) M.Simo & Stévart and (Lindl.) M.Simo & Stévart.

No previous event-related potentials (ERPs) study has explored the error-related negativity (ERN) - an ERP component indexing performance monitoring - associated to cancer and chemotherapy-induced cognitive impairment in a lung cancer population. The aim of this study was to examine differences in performance monitoring in a small-cell lung cancer group (SCLC, C +) 1-month following chemotherapy and two control groups: a non-small cell lung cancer patient group (NSCLC, C -) prior to chemotherapy and a healthy control group (HC). Seventeen SCLC (C +) underwent a neuropsychological assessment and an ERP study using a flanker and a stop-signal paradigm.

Objectives: To assess the short-term compliance with fesoterodine treatment and to identify the reasons for lack of adherence and discontinuation in routine clinical practice. The secondary aim was to estimate the patient-reported outcomes.
Methods: This was an observational retrospective, multicenter study conducted in a sample of women with overactive bladder on fesoterodine treatment for at least three months.

Introduction: Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) account for almost 4 % of all gastrointestinal neoplasms. Recently, a new type of tyrosine kinase inhibitor (Glivec), has been successfully used in patients with metastasic or unresectable disease. This study aims to assess the influence of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (FDG-PET) detection of recurrent disease on the management of patients with colorectal cancer and suspected recurrence. One hundred and twenty patients with suspected recurrence were studied with FDG-PET. Fifty-eight patients were referred for FDG-PET because of the elevation of serum tumour markers.
