Introduction: Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms (DRESS) is a severe hypersensitivity reaction rarely documented in patients with multiple myeloma (MM).
Methods: In our retrospective study of 108 newly diagnosed MM (NDMM) patients from January 2021 to October 2023, we identified four cases of DRESS. The clinical characteristics such as clinical manifestations, laboratory results, treatment and outcome were analyzed.

Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease (KFD) is a rare, self-limiting condition typically characterized by fever and lymphadenopathy. The exact etiology remains unclear but is suspected to be associated with viral infections and autoimmune responses. This report presents the case of a 32-year-old Chinese male who was admitted with recurrent high fever, lymphadenopathy, and hepatosplenomegaly.

Background: Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in neonates (MIS-N) is a rare condition thought to be associated with prenatal exposure to maternal severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection. This immune-mediated hyperinflammation has been described in neonates with multiorgan dysfunction, including cardiopulmonary, encephalopathy, coagulopathy, and vascular complications. However, renovascular complications in MIS-N are rare.

Background: Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) is a common pathogen causing non-tuberculous mycobacterial infections, primarily affecting the lungs. Disseminated MAC disease occurs mainly in immunocompromised individuals, such as those with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, hematological malignancies, or those positive for anti-interferon-γ antibodies. However, its occurrence in solid organ transplant recipients is uncommon.

Chikungunya virus infection often manifests as an acute, self-limiting febrile illness, with arthralgia and musculoskeletal symptoms being the most commonly reported. Arthralgia can persist for months or even years, and approximately 50% of cases progress to chronic conditions. However, recent outbreaks have revealed a rising number of severe cases and fatalities.
