This paper describes our approach to construct a scalable system for unsupervised information extraction from the behaviour change intervention literature. Due to the many different types of attribute to be extracted, we adopt a passage retrieval based framework that provides the most likely value for an attribute. Our proposed method is capable of addressing variable length passage sizes and different validation criteria for the extracted values corresponding to each attribute to be found. We evaluate our approach by constructing a manually annotated ground-truth from a set of 50 research papers with reported studies on smoking cessation.

Objective: To characterize the public conversations around long COVID, as expressed through X (formerly Twitter) posts from May 2020 to April 2023.
Methods: Using X as the data source, we extracted tweets containing #long-covid, #long_covid, or "long covid," posted from May 2020 to April 2023. We then conducted an unsupervised deep learning analysis using Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT).

Study Objectives: Polysomnography (PSG) currently serves as the benchmark for evaluating sleep disorders. Its discomfort makes long-term monitoring unfeasible, leading to bias in sleep quality assessment. Hence, less invasive, cost-effective, and portable alternatives need to be explored.

Paper differentiation can play a critical role in forensic document examination along with examinations of handwriting identification, impressed writing, and ink and printer toner analyses. If reference database to compare was constructed, paper analyses are also useful in terms of examining when document paper was produced. In this study, two datasets were utilized for principal component analysis (PCA) and t-SNE, and each dataset was constructed for the manufacturer discrimination and document paper dating tasks.

Background: The P300 signal, an endogenous component of event-related potentials, is extracted from an electroencephalography signal and employed in Brain-computer Interface (BCI) devices.
Objective: The current study aimed to address challenges in extracting useful features from P300 components and detecting P300 through a hybrid unsupervised manner based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Long Short-term Memory (LSTM).
Material And Methods: In this cross-sectional study, CNN as a useful method for the P300 classification task emphasizes spatial characteristics of data.

In drug-resistant epilepsy, a visual inspection of intracranial electroencephalography (iEEG) signals is often needed to localize the epileptogenic zone (EZ) and guide neurosurgery. The visual assessment of iEEG time-frequency (TF) images is an alternative to signal inspection, but subtle variations may escape the human eye. Here, we propose a deep learning-based metric of visual complexity to interpret TF images extracted from iEEG data and aim to assess its ability to identify the EZ in the brain.
