HAITooL information system design and implementation was based on Design Science Research Methodology, ensuring full participation, in close collaboration, of researchers and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. HAITooL enables effective monitoring of antibiotic resistance, antibiotic use and provides an antibiotic prescription decision-supporting system by clinicians, strengthening the patient safety procedures. The design, development and implementation process reveals benefits in organizational and behavior change with significant success. Leadership commitment multidisciplinary team and mainly informaticians engagement was crucial to the implementation process. Participants' motivation and the final product delivery and evolution depends on that.

Background: Pancreatic cancer involving the pancreas neck and body often invades the retroperitoneal vessels, making its radical resection challenging. Multimodal treatment strategies, including neoadjuvant therapy, surgery, and postoperative adjuvant therapy, are contributing to a paradigm shift in the treatment of pancreatic cancer. Background: Research on the contextual drivers of antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) programme interventions in neonatal units is limited.

Methods: As part of a prospective mixed-methods multidisciplinary neonatal AMS (NeoAMS) interventional study in 14 South African hospitals, we applied a three-phased process to assess implementation barriers and contextual drivers experienced by participating health professionals. Extreme prematurity involves a series of complications that a multidisciplinary team should manage. Taking into account the risks related to premature newborns, such as maternal-fetal infections, intrauterine growth restriction, and certain comorbidities associated with young gestational age, our objective is to highlight the importance of a multidisciplinary team in approaching cases with an unfavorable prognosis. This is a case report of an extremely preterm newborn who came from a high-risk pregnancy and needed long-term hospitalization in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and mechanical ventilation.
