The changes in mitotic index of mouse bone marrow, spleen, liver, kidneys, small intestine, cornea were studied during alterations in the number of T-suppressors. It was found that mitotic activity in all tissues investigated enhanced significantly after a decrease in the number of T-suppressors caused by single injection of an antiserum against T-suppressors. On the contrary, the mitotic index diminished significantly after the transfer of tolerant spleen lymphoid cell suspension enriched by T-suppressors to normal syngeneic mice. These data indicate that T-suppressors are responsible for the control over cell proliferation in nonlymphoid tissues.

In this study, the immunological characteristics of a dog's body were established, allowing for a quick reaction to any changes in the immune status and the development of an immunodeficiency state. The immunoregulatory blood index was determined to indicate the ratio of T-helpers and T-suppressors. The immunoregulatory index of the spleen was determined as the ratio of CD4+ cells to CD8+ cells in the field of view of a microscope (eyepiece 10, objective 40) after obtaining histological preparations according to generally accepted methods.

The negative consequences of constant stress exposure in patients with chronic pancreatitis (CP) develop an immune deficiency, which also depends on the nature of the body's immune response, which may vary at different ages.; The aim of the study - to study and analyze the state of the immune system of patients with chronic pancreatitis in the age aspect.; We examined the immune system (IS) of 161 patients with CP aged 21 to 78 years, mean age - (58.

We studied the effect of preconditioning of human bone marrow mononuclear cells with erythropoietin on the immunophenotype of immunocompetent cells and paracrine activity of mouse splenocytes. The expression of erythropoietin receptors on immunocompetent human bone marrow cells was shown to change after a short-term (60 min) exposure to erythropoietin. The number of T helpers carrying erythropoietin receptors decreased and the number of T suppressors, B lymphocytes, and monocytes carrying erythropoietin receptors increased.

High biofilm-forming capacity of Staphylococcus spp. strains isolated from biomaterial of patients with infectious complications after primary knee replacement developed within 6-12 months after surgery was experimentally demonstrated. Differential leukocyte counts and some indicators of cell immunity in these patients were compared with those in patients without purulent complications and healthy volunteers.

However, prognostic models of estimation of probability of its development are lacking. The purpose of study is to develop regression models of prognostication of periapical abscess under chronic periodontitis in children according indices of peripheral blood and systemic cellular immunity.
