Affordable and clean energy, eliminating poverty, and reducing inequality are important goals of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This paper examines the role of access to clean cooking fuels in promoting income growth and reducing income inequality. Using data from Chinese households, we show that a 10% increase in the adoption of clean cooking fuels would result in an increase in total annual household income of US$37 billion nationwide.

In this study, we introduce an innovative dual-branch network model designed to effectively address this challenge. Background: This systematic review assesses the role of the Cooperative Health Insurance System (CHIS) in achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Saudi Arabia's evolving healthcare system by consolidating and analyzing findings from diverse studies to provide a comprehensive overview of CHIS's impact and also identifies contextual challenges and practical insights that can inform similar reforms globally.
Methods: We report results following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. The following six databases were searched for relevant studies: PubMed, Scopus, CINAHL, Business Source Complete, APA PsycINFO, and SocIndex.

Early approval mechanisms, such as conditional approval in the EU, have been used extensively to provide timely access to therapeutic innovations to cancer patients with unmet medical needs. While based on promising early evidence, such approvals are challenging from many perspectives due to the lack of comprehensive data. The limitation typically relates to data that demonstrates clinical benefit via early endpoints and is only acceptable when the early evidence is particularly convincing to assume that the benefits of early access are greater than the potential harms.
