Building upon evidence of safety and efficiency gains from a randomized control trial (RCT) in South Africa, we further scaled implementation of two-way, short message service (SMS), text-based (2wT) follow-up after voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC). We aimed to determine if gains in adverse event (AE) identification and reduced follow-up visits could be maintained when 2wT was implemented in routine VMMC settings. A pragmatic, stepped wedge design (SWD) study was implemented across three districts in South Africa.

The restorative effect of natural environments on human well-being has garnered significant attention in psychology and environmental science. However, extraordinary nature-such as volcanoes, glaciers, and starry skies-has been largely underexplored despite its potential to elicit stronger emotional and physiological responses. Similarly, personality analysis has been somewhat overlooked in environmental psychology research.

Taking the mortgage loan mechanism of farmland management rights in Jinshan District of Shanghai as an example, we analyzed the coupling mechanism between farmland transfer and farmland mortgage according to a case analysis and system evolution theory. We explored the comparative advantages and inherent limitations. The results showed that the linkage between farmland transfer and farmland mortgage has a Pareto nature, which can achieve a two-way mutual promotion and spiral development of the coupling system.

Background: Individuals with chronic ankle instability (CAI) often experience deficits in balance, hip strength, and lumbopelvic stability. Unilateral balance training can lead to improved balance in the contralateral limb, but it is unknown if similar cross-education effects occur for hip strength and lumbopelvic stability. Our purpose was to determine if unilateral balance training improved balance, hip strength, and lumbopelvic stability of the contralateral limbs in individuals with CAI.

Unlabelled: Time under tension (TUT) is an important variable in resistance training (RT). A stretch sensor (Bandcizer) attached to an elastic band during RT can quantify TUT reliably.

Objective: To explore adherence to prescribed TUT for elastic band RT with the Bandcizer during supervised and unsupervised RT at different time points.
