Chondrosarcomas are malignant cartilaginous tumors that usually affect the pelvic bone and long bones. Primary chondrosarcomas of the skull are rare, with the cranial vault being an even more unusual localization. We report a case of a 75-year-old man presenting with headaches and outgrowth of the parietal scalp.

Brain metastases of a chondrosarcoma are extremely rare, and treatment remains controversial. A 54-year-old woman had undergone surgical treatment for a femoral chondrosarcoma and its lung metastases. She presented with visual disturbance and dizziness 22 months after the initial surgery; imaging studies of the brain revealed a metastatic tumor in the left parieto-occipital lobe.

Background: Dural chondrosarcoma is a very rare intracranial tumor, given that meninges do not normally contain cartilaginous tissue from which it can originate. We present a case of primary extraosseous dural chondrosarcoma.
Case Presentation: A 48-year-old woman presented to our tertiary center neurosurgery consultation with progressive headache, vomiting, vertigo, and gait instability of 5 months' duration.
